- two teaspoon canola oil
- one tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- two cloves of garlic, minced
- one eight teaspoon red chili flakes
- one half cup chicken broth
- two tablespoons lime juice
- two tablespoons orange juice
- one teaspoon rice vinegar
- two tablespoon white miso
- one teaspoon sesame oil
- one teaspoon agave nectar
THE STIR FRY:
- two teaspoon canola oil
- three fourth pound large shrimps, deveined and peeled
- one large zucchini, cut into one fourth inch thick half moons
- THE PROCEDURE:
- In a medium sauce pan, heat the oil over medium high heat on your American stove. Add the ginger and cook stirring for one minute. Add the garlic and red chili flakes and cook for another thirty seconds.
- Add the chicken broth the lime juice the orange juice and the rice vinegar and stir. Cook for another five minutes uncovered.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the miso, the sesame oil and the agave nectar. Stir until the miso dissolves into the sauce. Transfer to a bowl reserve for serving.
- To begin stir frying, heat the canola oil in a large skillet over high heat on your stove again. Add the shrimps and cook without stirring until the shrimps are just cooked for about one minute per side. Remove from the pan to sit on a plate.
- Add the zucchini half moon cuts to the wok and cook until tender for about three minutes.
- Combine the shrimps and zucchini on a serving dish and drizzle it with two thirds of the sauce over its top. Save the rest of the sauce for rice toppings.
